WHAT IS ACADEMIC INTEGRITY?

• Honesty and responsibility in scholarship
• Academic assignment exist to help the student learn
• Grades represent student performance
• Student must understand own effort

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

There are 4 type of PLAGIARISM to avoid:

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM?

• Need to credit (cite) all your sources – in the text or in the reference list.
• In format APA (American Psychological Association) – for behavioral sciences.

If want to use the information, can do this:

• Quoting – means by using the exact word of someone and putting them in quotation marks.

• Paraphrasing – restating the text giving the meaning in another form. It's the same like rewrite the text in our own words.

FORMAT CITATION IN APA STYLE

CALCULATING GRADE  POINT AVERAGE ( CGPA )

Grade point average ( GPA ) → The final examination results and assessments at the end of every semester

Cumulative grade point average ( CGPA ) →  is the same thing as GPA and it shows someone’s academic achievement. You will get an award or dean list if you get 3.5 above or 4.0 ( 4 flat ) every semester.
